Representative COUNCIL by-ELECTION 2025RESULTS

The Representative Council of the Student Union KOE decided in its meeting on January 23, 2025, to replenishes itself. The Central Election Committee of the Student Union organized the elections between February 26 and April 9, 2025, and has confirmed the election results.

In the elections, the Representative Council was supplemented with seven (7) full members and ten (10) deputy members. A total of 18 candidates stood for the by-elections on seven different lists. Voting was open from Wednesday, April 2, 2025, at 9:00 AM to April 9, 2025, at 1:00 PM.

After the by-elections, the Representative Council consists of the full 20 regular members and 10 deputy members as defined in the rules.

Deputy members are promoted to full members according to their respective lists. For example, if a member from List Y moves to the Executive Board or leaves the Council, the next highest-ranking candidate from List Y will take their place in the Council based on the comparative index.

Total number of votes per list:

• LaKOSTE – 105 votes

• Tradenööri – 102 votes

• Möte 1 – 88 votes

• LapIO – 63 votes

• LAB Hospitality – 61 votes

• Tuukka Rajanen – 31 votes

• Shahzaib Malik – 14 votes

A total of 464 votes were cast in the by-elections. The voter turnout was 10.4%.
